The new DrinkCoach website is a seamless end-to-end service which offers identification and brief advice as well as the tools, both free and paid for, to track and change one’s drinking - all in one place.

DrinkCoach was launched in 2013 by a pioneering team from Haringey Advisory Group on Alcohol (HAGA) to help individuals track and change their drinking. The app made it easier for individuals to track the number of units and calories consumed as well as the costs of drinking, on the go and for free.

It was later complemented with an online coaching service, delivering Extended Brief Interventions online to those who need it, when they need it – weekdays, evenings and weekends.

In April 2018 HAGA merged with Blenheim CDP.

Spurred on with new energy and investment, the team relaunched the offering in December 2018 to include the Alcohol Use Disorder Identification Test (AUDIT) - the gold standard alcohol screening tool endorsed by the World Health Organisation.

They did this by merging their DontBottleItUp alcohol screening website, in existence from 2012, into the DrinkCoach website and rebranding this section “The Alcohol Test”.

In April 2019, Blenheim CDP merged with Humankind to form a new organisation with national reach, focused on addressing health and social inequalities across the country and committed to furthering the DrinkCoach offering.

Discrete. Confidential. Convenient. DrinkCoach helps tackle the harms caused by alcohol where and when it’s needed.
